The third stage of facilitator training consists of the on-site mentoring. This entails monitoring the work done by the facilitators in particular. The Aladon Network has developed a Facilitator Competency Development Program where facilitators are assessed during an analysis against 45 distinct skills that are required for RCM2 facilitators. These skills ensure that RCM2 is applied to standard that produces sensible and defensible maintenance programs.  It also entails ensuring that the group members and auditors understand the philosophy and apply it correctly.
